Dr. Stanton
Dr. Stanton is a board certified veterinary surgeon. She will travel to Punta Gorda Animal Hospital to perform advanced soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. She is also available for consults.

Dr. Hay is a board certified small animal surgeon with over 17 years of experience in veterinary medicine and surgery. His practice is in Tampa, FL.

Dr. Chris Levine grew up in New Jersey. He traveled around the country obtaining his education before finding his home in Sarasota, Florida in 2013. Dr. Levine practiced in the area for almost 5 years before deciding to open his own neurology, neurosurgery, and imaging practice. His professional interests include surgical treatments for intracranial and spinal cord tumors, fibrocartilagenous emboli (spinal cord strokes), auto-immune conditions affecting the brain and spinal cord (GME), decompressive disc surgeries, and acquisition and interpretation of advanced non-invasive diagnostic imaging modalities (MRI, MRA, CT).

Dr. Ashley J. Kelley's interest in veterinary neurology began with her introduction to the specialty through her own experience with her dachshund, Champ, and his struggles with intervertebral disc disease. She had been interested in pursuing a career in medicine for as long as she could remember, and once she learned more about the field of veterinary neurology and neurosurgery, she knew this was the career path she wanted to pursue. Dr. Kelley continues to find medical neurology fascinating, but she has found her true passion in spinal surgery.

Dr. Michelle Carnes found her calling when she first witnessed an animal with a spinal cord injury regain its ability to walk. She has been practicing neurology and neurosurgery since 2006. Her professional interests include: neuro-oncologic surgeries, seizure management, Chiari-like malformation/syringomyelia, paine mangement, and non-invasive imaging procedures - especially high-field MRI.
